Your Responsibilities and Tasks
As a Network engineer, you will assist in the proactive contribution and on-going support and maintenance of the operational environment (servers, operating systems, network and end user equipment)
- Your role is to install, configure & support Network devices: switches, routers and Wi-Fi controllers, LAN and related hardware in large and complex environment using mostly Cisco materials
- You will be responsible for the layer 3 support of the network infrastructure (LAN, Wan, Wi-Fi, Datacenter)
- You will write and maintain technical documentation and process an RFP
- You will be responsible for the management & the deployment of datacenter build with Cisco SDN ACI solution
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot network related problems
Your Skills and Knowledge
- You have minimum 5 years of professional experience in network system environment
- You have a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent by experience
- You are able to create and follow a RFP processes
- You have good experience and deep knowledge of CISCO ACI solutions as well as HP Procurve and HP 3COM
- You are an expert in switching technologies (Spanning tree, routing protocol, layer2/3 topology, 802.1x NAC, QOS)
- Good knowledge of ITIL concepts is a plus
- English is mandatory and good knowledge of Dutch or French
