Adiutum is currently recruiting a Data Scientist (m/f) to join a fast-growing team of talented and motivated consultants.
In this role, your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems. You should be highly precise and logical, with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research.
Tasks
- Identify valuable data sources related to the client’s IT environment and automate collection processes
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Build predictive models and performant machine-learning algorithms
- Combine models through ensemble modeling
- Present information using data visualization techniques
- Facilitate maintenance and extension by producing well-documented and interpretable code
- Communicate ideas, approaches and results with peers and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
- Experience in extracting, cleaning, preparing and modelling data
- Experience with command-line scripting, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience in process optimization and automation
- Practical knowledge of Python, R and SQL is mandatory; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
- Deep experience in machine-learning and operations research
- Good knowledge of English, and French or Dutch
